Doing this photo shoot was an unbelievable honor for me and a huge reason why I love being an Orange County Maternity photographer.

My beautiful friend struggled with infertility for many years and faced what seemed like insurmountable odds of ever getting pregnant, but she continued to pray and pray with their only hope resting in the arms of the Lord.  Faith seemed to be all they had till a series of circumstances led them to a place where they could seek out the medical assistance needed. Even still, this wasn’t an easy road for them as they struggled with IVF and all that it entails and given very little hope by the doctors. But as Christians we all knew that our heavenly Father, the Doctor of all Doctors, would be the one to make the final call on if she would be blessed with a child.

Fast forward 8 months and there I was with my beautiful friend before me, with a gorgeous swollen belly, as she carried around her very own blessing from above.  Her husband and parents joined us that day as I got to capture this very important time in all of their lives.  Words can’t explain how privileged I still feel to be the one to document this time for them.  I’ve never seen with my own eyes such a strong testimony for faith and believing against all odds.

Their precious little Maverick is here earth side with us now and I can’t wait to finally meet this little gift from God <3
