I always like to say a little something about each family I photograph… and every family is truly special in their own way.  And this time I don’t even have to think about what makes this family so special to me… this one is easy.  For one, Misty is my best friend of 20+ years.  Actually, calling her a ‘Friend’ feels more like an understatement.  ‘Sister’ seems more appropriate.  But what makes Misty and her husband Matt truly amazing is that they have taken Misty’s nephew and niece into their home to raise and care for as their own.  With three children of their own already, bringing in 2 teenagers without hesitation.. the word “Saints” always comes to mind.  Misty, I love you, admire you, and look forward to another 20+ years of friendship.  And I hope you love the photos we took on this FREEZING day! 🙂
