This shoot was so surreal to me.  The Hosford’s house was the one I went to after school, had sleepovers at, the place where Annie and I would stand in her bathroom experimenting with make-up and awful 80’s style bangs. I even had my very first “photoshoot” at the Hosford house.. a couple of friends and old fancy dresses… And obviously- awful 80’s style bangs.

Fast forward 20+ years and here I am photographing the second generation in a park where I also spent a lot of my youth.  I loved that we took a more casual approach with this shoot to just capture raw interactions and love.  This is what we photographers love to call perfectly imperfect and I think every family should have photos just like it 🙂
